1. Complete our Local Voicemail Office (LVO) application by clicking here. (TIP: Simply SKIP steps 1, 2 and 3 and go to “Other Options”. Under “Other Options,” click on the “Moving an existing number to us” arrow, add the number you would like to move to us and complete the rest of the form. This will establish your account with us.)

2. Complete our Letter of Authorization (LOA) by clicking here. (TIP: Don’t worry if you make a mistake. We can correct on our end. This form gives us authorization to work on your behalf to move your number to VMO.)

3. Email a copy of your most recent bill from current provider.
(TIP: You can simply reply to the email you will immediately receive from us after completing Step 1 with an electronic copy of your most recent bill. A bill copy is required to prove ownership of the number(s), so ensure it displays your phone number, name & address.)


That’s it! Once you complete all steps, we will begin to work on your behalf to move your phone number. Do not cancel your service until you have been notified that your number(s) have successfully ported. The process does take up to 2 weeks complete, which depends on how quickly your current carrier releases the number to us.
